How EyekickVisual Transformed a Google Event in Mountain View. Props, Signage, and Every Surface In Between
A full project breakdown of the large format printing and space transformation EyekickVisual delivered for a multi-room Google campus event in Mountain View, CA. Pixel-art props, exterior window graphics, wayfinding signage, podium wraps, and branded installations across multiple venues, all produced in-house at our San Jose facility.
When Google runs an event on its Mountain View campus, the standard for visual production is high and the expectation for every printed surface, every prop, every wayfinding sign, and every branded installation is that it looks like it was designed and built specifically for that space. Because at Google, it was.
EyekickVisual was brought in to produce the complete large format print environment for a multi-room Google campus event in Mountain View spanning several activations: Google Cloud's "Build with Gemini," Google School for Leaders, and the AI Talent Experience. The scope covered everything from a curved glass exterior facade wrapped with large format window graphics to hand-crafted pixel-art props, freestanding wayfinding totems, branded podium wraps, reception desk graphics, custom chevron panels, and individual room signage. Every piece produced in-house at our San Jose, California facility and installed on-site by our Bay Area team.
This is a detailed look at what we built, how we built it, and what it means to be the large format printing partner a company like Google trusts for its campus events.
What EyekickVisual produced for Google Mountain View
Pixel-art props: large format printing meets fabrication
The most visually distinctive elements of this project were the large-scale pixel-art character props a green dinosaur, a blue cloud, a gray owl, and a gray cat. Each produced as oversized foam board prints, precision-cut to their pixel-art silhouette and finished for freestanding display.
Props like these sit at the intersection of large format printing and fabrication. The artwork needs to be prepared at the exact dimensions of the finished piece, with pixel-accurate edge definition so the cut profile matches the design precisely. The substrate in this case rigid foam board needs to be thick enough to stand without warping but light enough to be repositioned throughout the event. The print itself needs to be rich and color-accurate, because these props were the first thing attendees saw when they walked into each session zone.
Because EyekickVisual handles both the printing and the cutting in-house, there is no handoff between a print vendor and a fabrication shop. The file that comes off the press is the file that gets cut. Color accuracy and edge quality are verified together, not separately, before anything leaves our San Jose facility.
Exterior window graphics: making the entrance the first brand moment
The curved glass entrance facade of the Google campus building became the first brand touchpoint for every attendee arriving at the event. EyekickVisual produced and installed large format window graphics spanning the full width of the entrance "Welcome" and "Build with Gemini" branding applied directly to the glass, visible from across the parking approach and immediately communicating the event identity before anyone stepped inside.
Window graphic installation on a curved glass facade is technically demanding. The vinyl must conform to the curvature of the glass without lifting, bubbling, or creating visible tension lines at the edges of each panel. Panel seams must be aligned precisely so the graphic reads as continuous across the full facade width. And the print itself must account for the light transmission properties of the glass. A graphic that looks opaque and bold on a flat proof may appear washed out or uneven when backlit by interior lighting.
Our in-house production team accounts for all of these variables during file preparation, not after the graphic is already on the wall. That is what makes the difference between a window graphic installation that looks intentional and one that looks like an afterthought.
Wayfinding signage: the system that makes a multi-room event work
A multi-activation campus event with attendees moving between breakout rooms, main stages, and experience zones lives or dies on its wayfinding. When the signage system is clear, attendees move confidently. When it is not, they cluster at hallway junctions and miss sessions. For the Google event in Mountain View, EyekickVisual produced a comprehensive freestanding wayfinding system using the event's pixel-art character language — each character icon (fish, bird, dino, cat, owl) representing a different room or zone, with directional arrows guiding attendees from any point in the venue to any destination.
The signage system covered three distinct formats: tall black wayfinding totems with the full character-and-arrow directory, compact green directional cards ("Looking for the right place?"), and white directional panels with amenity icons for food, restrooms, and registration. All three formats shared the same visual language — produced on the same substrate, at the same color profile — so they read as a unified system no matter which sign an attendee encountered first.
Podium wraps and session graphics: branding at the point of attention
Inside each session room, the podium is the visual anchor it is what attendees look at for the duration of a talk, and it appears in every photo and video captured during the session. For the Google Cloud "Build with Gemini" sessions, EyekickVisual produced custom podium wraps carrying the campaign's logo and color treatment, consistent with the exterior signage and room graphics so the brand read as coherent from the moment attendees arrived to the moment they left.
The chevron pattern panels tall freestanding black boards printed with Google's multicolor Gemini chevron pattern served as environmental dividers and visual anchors inside the session spaces, adding depth and brand identity to rooms that would otherwise read as generic conference environments. Combined with the monitor and kiosk graphics, these elements meant that every surface an attendee's eye could land on in a session room was carrying the event's visual identity.
Why in-house production matters for tech company events
Tech company events particularly on Google's campus operate on tight timelines with high quality standards and essentially zero tolerance for print errors that show up on event day. A misregistered cut on a foam prop, a color shift on a window graphic, a podium wrap that does not align any of these is visible to thousands of attendees and appears in every photo taken at the event.
Avoiding these outcomes is not about luck. It is about production control. When EyekickVisual produces an event environment for a Google campus activation, every element is printed in-house at our San Jose facility on calibrated equipment, reviewed for color accuracy and registration before it leaves the building, and installed on-site by our own Bay Area team. There is no outsourced printing, no third-party fabrication shop, no middleman between the file and the finished piece.
"Every prop, every sign, every window graphic, every podium wrap made in San Jose, installed in Mountain View, visible to thousands of people. That is what in-house production makes possible."
